Shut your hole: Noise Canceled Internet with Pi-hole
The modern web is loud. Ads, trackers, and telemetry follow you from page to page and app to app. This talk walks through a Pi-hole setup that blocks that noise at the network level, before it ever reaches your devices. No browser extensions, no per-device configuration, just silence for everything on your network.
We’ll also touch on Unbound as a lightweight recursive DNS resolver for managing internal services by name, and, time permitting, how Wireguard lets you take your filtering rules on the road and reach your home-hosted resources from anywhere.
