WhiteBeam: LD_PRELOAD Based Linux Security Nathan Nye discusses a new and safe approach for Linux security software. We look at modern rootkits targeting Linux and see if we can build security software using their concepts.

Nathan Nye Nathan Nye is a Senior Security Engineer at True Anomaly and a past presenter at the group. With nearly two decades of experience in cybersecurity and an extensive background working with Linux systems, he has responsibly disclosed critical vulnerabilities to companies including Google, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Intel, Dropbox, Starbucks, AT&T, and MasterCard. Since 2020, his work has focused on Linux security internals and cryptographic attack research targeting 3DES and AES implementations.
